No Experience Necessary! If you can ride a bike you can paddle!
Whether it's a leisurely paddle or a muscle pumping pedal(or Both!), we offer unique rentals and tours to fit all of your needs. We are a short 35 minute drive from most suburbs and offer an escape from the stress of the city. Explore all of the natural beauty and historic charm that Morris has to offer and see the city from a different angle. The I & M Canal and Illinois River parallel each other as they pass through the city of Morris. Explore what was once a bustling transportation hub and is now a tranquil canal from the comforts of a kayak or a canoe. The Canal also has a crushed limestone towpath that was once travelled by mules to pull barges and is now a multipurpose recreational path perfect for biking. If adventure is in your game, rent a kayak or canoe and tour the Illinois River. The Illinois River is a slow flowing river and offers a 20 mile stretch of the river to paddle with NO lowhead Dams! The Illinois River offers an abundance of wildlife to explore and sandy beaches to picnic or relax on. From Sugar Island, a 1.5 mile long island just west of Morris, to the Mazon River inlet just south of the Stratton Park, one could spend hours venturing, exploring and seeing eagles, loons, great blue herons and egrets.

KayakMorris.com is a wireless broadband Hotspot and for a $5 donation(which goes to The Nature Conservancy) you get all day unlimited access. Come out and relax at a picnic table while you surf.
